Hey! This is your old pal (neighbor, relative, ex, classmate, former or current coworker, or professional acquaintance) Joan!

Imagine me in a dress.

Ha!

Did you laugh or shudder in horror? Either way, I'll bet it was a big reaction.

So why am I even mentioning such a ludicrous scenario? Well, my friends, because it may become a reality.

Help me raise enough money to bring a personal hero of mine, Roz Savage, to Atlanta on her speaking tour in September, and I will wear a dress for a day. That's wearing a dress to work, and then wearing it out to dinner and a club in the evening so that all of my contributors can enjoy the spectacle.

Right now, I am not that far from my goal amount. And if I exceed the goal, the fun just gets more crazy. The more I raise, the more girly accoutrements I will endure: nail polish, makeup, heels ... If you make this into a resounding success, I will get my brows, lip and legs waxed at a group spa event and post video. Ow. (Out-of-town donors will receive photos and a commemorative thank-you card.)
