Dear Edith:
Your card received and enjoyed so much. It reminded me of cards I used to send from Holley Beach NJ when Harold was a little boy.
Holly Beach was just below Wildwood (where the stylish folks went) We had a boarding place next to Schlichtings Hotel (The land lady had car-peters, plumbers etc boarding there + the large platters chicken + large oblong dishes of different kinds of vegetables did one's heart good. (not to mention stomach).
One night I choked in my tea and held my mouth tight shut. The air + turned my head + attempted to leave the table so I would not disgrace myself - The tea + air couldn't get out of my mouth so the tea shot out of my nose into the ear of the man who sat next to me, Believe me, he was surprised and was I embarrassed. I can laugh now
