She is a Blue Ambassador for the Blue Climate and Oceans Project.

Roz Savage, environmental campaigner and solo ocean rower, earlier this year became the first woman to row solo across the Pacific, in a three-stage row from San Francisco, CA, to Madang in Papua New Guinea.

For each of the three stages of her record-setting Pacific row, Savage has urged people to take action on the top environmental issues facing the world today. She leads by example, emphasizing the power of individual actions to make a difference.

She is a United Nations Environment Programme Climate Hero.
